Who is LRC?
Located in Lakeland, Florida, but serving students throughout Polk County, the Learning Resource Center of Polk County, Inc. helps students maximize their learning potential by providing personalized educational programs, consultative services for parents, and programs to accommodate community needs.
The AdvancED-accredited, United Way organization that began forty years ago, employs more than 600 certified teachers who provide countywide services to over 4,000 students, ages five through adult, in programs such as One-to-One Tutoring, ACT & SAT Prep, study skills, and elementary summer programs. LRC’s individual, customized approach to learning enables each student the opportunity to reach their maximum potential.
